Becoming a better listener

A listener must give attention to the person speaking, this is sometimes difficult to do. Distractions are something I find must be avoided, when in a discussion with someone, or trying to listen, a distraction can crush the whole process. Think about your last conversation with someone where they were constantly looking at their cell phone or were distracted by something.
